The port of Cefalù

On the east side of the village, just below the Rocca, stands the New Port of Cefalù, called “Presidiana“.

The harbour extends for about 580 meters in length and is protected by a three-arm pier with a 250 meter long jetty. Close the landscape a natural promontory called Calura, characterized by a tower dating back to the medieval period of the sixteenth century.

The port is mainly used by local fishermen, for work purposes, but it is also a major tourist attraction of the country. The port of Presidiana enjoys a magnificent panorama, and can also be reached on foot from the village or by special shuttles. It offers several catering services, but you can also rent a boat and spend a relaxing day in the open sea.
